So one of my goals on this server is to (eventually) spend a lot of time in the Plane of Mischief.

Unfortunately, this guy -> http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=1163 doesn't drop on the 'Kabor (I live in California everything gets edited - Malibu is "the 'bu").

AFAIK, there's no other item with bind affinity and casters can only bind themselves in PoM - is that correct for AK? I'm just trying to figure out the best way to achieve that goal with my main.

I need to start a pilgrimage there soon. Bristlebane has been ignoring all my prayers for more drama on the eqmac forums. It's as if some insipid ether has coalesced in the transmission cables like a mutated profanity filter, and I suspect that one of His puppets has actually replaced him. The false Bristlebane must die!
I know you can Divine Aura a few times and run there, but how long would it take a raid with good Claws of Veeshan faction to crawl there? Is there a faster way?
Anyone else up for starting a children's crusade to reconquer the Holy Land?

DA is the fastest way. If you crawl there, you CoV faction will be max KoS by the time you reach PoM, even if you were max ally to start.

Once you get past a couple of halls in the NToV everthing is KoS even to max ally CoV faction. I just can't remember the exact point but I know it's before the named wyverns before Aary.

So how do you get a bunch of folks without self-Divine Aura there? Waiting for my Divine Aura AA to refresh after each toon would take hours. How long does the bard one take to refresh? Can you pac there?

North Temple of Veeshan Raid followed by an extended excursion to the Plane of Mischief. You might be able to keep a corpse in the Plane of Mischief and keep a cleric there to rez you into the zone...

I've heard you need two consecutive DA's to make the run? So you'd need two bards to shuttle 4 extra people in the group every 3 mins?

I'm looking for a way to avoid the NToV slaughter for peeps who want to keep their CoV faction, and not have to worry about meeting Woushi on a dark street corner

2 bards or make it in 2 and half mins that selos lasts.

But that would take lots of good coordination and everyone keeping up to get the DA on everyone in group (Not huge range on spells)

If you're looking to get more than just yourself there, you may be able to do it with a necro. From personal experience, I know that there is enough time between wanderers pathing past PoM zone-in for necro-vacing. Rezzing the corpses will be more difficult. Though I imagine you may be able to get off a pac after necro-rezz and twitch....In any case, it won't be easy to get a group there without some slaughter.

The good thing about CoV faction is that it's easy to regain. I've been back and forth from max ally to max KoS 4 (and a half) times. Kael raids with Mercenary killing in between makes it go very quickly.

Haha, I concur with Stamm...with Kael raids tossed in, getting COV faction back is a piece of cake.

I'm thinking of farming for a few Shiny Brass Idols for the run... Not efficient but should work right?
