So who all do we have around still ?

I got Mavi up to level 13, she'll get new spells next level that will make her seem more fundamentally a shaman (mid-teens seems to be where the classes really start to differentiate).

I've been enjoying keeping her untwinked, and working on basic gear and quests with her. She's just about ready to start on her "Shaman 2" quests from Shar Vahl, and I've been eyeing some of the one-step-up-from-utter-newb quests in Shadeweavers for her too.

Aosoth is now level 11. After what seems endless hours whacking skeletons near the EC border, she has her newbie helmet, gloves, sleeves and boots. It's probably time to move to the camp by the Lavastorm zone for the rest of the drops.

The pet and the minor spells that I have so far have definitely made a difference. But it is a good thing my spells are mostly even lower level necro spells and therefore cheaper. Skeletons in Nektulos are not a good source of plat. On the plus side, I have bone chips for pets for a very long time to come.

I see Vrayna on the luck channel from time to time. Is there anybody else still with us?

Hehe, yes, Vrayna is set up to /autojoin Luck...
However, I'm currently working on :
1) my Epic, so camping for drops quite a lot right now,
2) my shawl, so in TSing hell,
3) a Horse Fund for someone, so farming quite a bit,
4) trying to become tougher, so grinding when I have time, and
5) trying to find the time to log Yenlie on...

So my poor little wizzie is still only 9, and has only 2 or maybe 3 pieces of her newbie gear... I'll try to move 5) a bit higher on the list

Vrayna, if you need a break from the TSing hell and want to try for some drops, just let me know. Or if you want help with any of the other items on your list. I really need to grind some xp and farm plat. Let's not discuss the status of my epic.

Likewise, I like getting out and about, and both farming and epic work can do that. I don't have luck on "autojoin" (mostly because I don't want my trader on it), but I usually remember to join when I'm on.

Are there any non-nodrop things anyone can use? I can send Mavi out to work on that sometimes.

Not many of the pieces I need are not no-drop besides the easy ones of a LQ and MQ wolf hide and silk thread. I do need 2 basilisk hatchling hides that drop from basilisk hatchlings in Gfay, interesting spot for drops for a DE shield.

I also need 1 leathered zombie flesh from rotting citizens and rotting initiates in Nektulos. But I'll probably encounter that while camping the calcified and petrified pieces that are no-drop.

Basilisk hatchlings are also found in Nektulos forest and (I think) the Northern Desert of Ro, near the zone in to East Freeport.

Alla is not at all good about documenting the dark elf newb armor quests. They also imply that DE Warriors have to go to Crushbone .. which would ruin their faction with their own guild. They don't mention that the orc bones drop in Nektulos as well as Crushbone.

(They also don't mention that the "easier" halfling bones drop from halfling skeletons in Nektulos .. halfling bones are used in DE rogue gear, I was able to make three pieces without harming the head of a halfling .. bracers, boots and gloves, I think.)

Yours may be the only one .. though I've since started a little ranger.

I wonder if anyone else is interested in trying this again? I love the concept, it just takes a big enough group with a similar enough schedule.

I still have my little untwinked level 10 wizard, named Yenlie... She hasn't moved from PoK for months... I think I half converted her into a mule, but that could change, if I find the time to get back online a bit more :?
