Does anyone know if the bug from the beta was fixed where drops from Aqua Goblins in butcherblock were selling for 4pp each? I hope not

Probably not, they just recently fixed that bug on the PC side... just before Stromm went up I believe.

Not fixed. I mean to stop by there soon before it gets nerfed, although I have other sources of platinum...

Oh... the usual. Nothing that will make you phat l3wtz as fast as the aqua goblins, but I can get decent low-level plat in some old world areas.

Mammoth hunting in the EverFrost, for instance.

With a Bard & a drum, running off of the tundra to a vendor is a piece of cake. There's no static spawn, so you're not chained to a camp like the goblins.

And I've got a couple weight-reducing bags now... not much, but better than nothing.

Sweet, thanks guys. Now I just need to hit 10 so I can go clear the camp .. I'd love a set of banded, Ganlarg, but I guess I'll have to track you down in-game.

I never had much luck with the tusks before I quit PCEQ. My bard didn't have track, though, so I probably would have done better with that.

Never got that high (quit before Luclin), but I'd like to try some day. Sounds like very long fights... but individual fights as a Bard are not exactly the fastest things anyway

The rest of my "secret" lowbie zones are pretty unspectacular... Shadeweaver's, the Warrens, and a couple more places. Heck, with the current low server population, you can own almost any area that you want these days.

Aqua goblins are in your range... Butcherblock mountains, on the dock side of the zone. Just run around a bit, or do a /shout. There will probably be plenty of goblin campers.

As soon as I can make lvl 10 & get the rest of my newbie armor (wee!) I'll be there (probably this evening). I just have to find a Bandit Sash & some Giant Fire Beetle brains (no drop stuff).

I made about 10 platinum in a different area over the course of last evening (not counting the sell-able INT stuff that could fetch a LOT more)... which isn't bad for a pure n00b area. A few plague rat tails helped immensely. Yay me!

Just be careful if you are an evil class/race. It is not impossible to get there, but there are dwarf guards in weird places in the zone and a few around the dock area.
