I am sure that someone can make an official reply to this, so don't consider this an offical reply. However, since I was there, you were not, and I'm now irritated:

There wasn't a list of loot that was to be claimed for The Frozen Poets.
Looting rules were posted.

I will probably only have two looters assigned, one from each guild. They will most likely be melee classes that are not main tanks for their groups. IF we come across any NODROP items, I want them to let me know by linking it in a raidsay. Only the classes/races that can use it will be rolling for it.
The rest of the loot will most likely be sold, unless it is a rare item, in which case it will be rolled for. After the loot is sold, the money will be split between the two looters and then each looter can distribute to their guilds as their guild requires. The two looters should be willing to do the selling and splitting outside of the raid time

It was our understanding that this raid was for Sanctuary, The Frozen Poets Of Velious and Evolution. Where did all the other guilds come from? Especially the leader from Temerity. Raids aren't about xp but getting 12pp and NO xp after all that seemed a little slim even by raid standards.
We were a bit concerned.
Well, it was my understanding that this raid was for Sanctuary and FPoV. And that a few others from other guilds might come along. And this raid wasn't about XP or loot, but about the fun of doing something together and learning about how a raid works in a relatively safe and familiar environment. Sorry if you weren't clued into that, but then you weren't part of the original group.
Kirrmarr, again in this thread wrote:
Any non guild members should ask for a fee up front or ask one or the other guild to be part of the cash distro. Any non guildie will be eligible for any rolled item, rare or NODROP.
Non guild members are characters that are not members of Sanctuary or The Frozen Poets of Velious.
I was disappointed that more Sanctuary didn't make it and rather surprised (as were others in FPoV from the comments) at how many Evolution showed up, but hey, we said fine if others came along, even if it felt like you block-rushed our raid.
Nogog, for example, asked in early on and no one had a problem with that (though he didnt make it in fact). At least one of the "other guild" people that was there was an alt of an FPoV member. And the Temerity person happens to be a close friend of a member and was asked to be there; as to her "leadership" role since she had raid experience and the rest of us had little or none she kindly offered to share her experience with us to try and help things go smoother.
As you pointed out, experience helps.
So does following the instructions of the raid leader, which was an issue. That can also lead to death and mayhem.
When Evolution organizes and runs a raid, then you can make the rules whatever you want and invite or deny whoever you want. If you have an issue with how we wish to organize things when we run one, then either discuss with the raid leader privately in advance or don't come.
