Well, there is yet another subject dealing with someone unable to complete a newbie quest due to a stacked item.

It got me to thinking that we might want a forum specifically for newbie advice, questions and tips. We could then place a sticky topic at the top, saying "DON'T STACK ITEMS FOR QUESTS OR NPC TURN-INS."

Heck, we could even have pictures, one labeled "Good", with a NPC window with items unstacked, and one labeled "Bad", with stacked items.

OK then - can you keep items, for example spider silk, stacked i your INV and unstack to turn in? Or once you've stacked while looting you're toast?

stacking is just for storage purposes, they will unstack, if you control click or right ckick on a stack it will select just one, or you can click and delete, type in "1" and then place in a container for combine or to turn in.

I knew you couldn't stack for a combine or turn-in - but if it turns out I had to never stack any items fort quest I'd be PO'd

I have two Robe's 1 item away from making - I could be much higher lvl now without spending all that time on quest items.

try and do a little of both, that way you keep it mixed and you won't get bored, the xp grind can get a bit repetative, as can tradeskills, and quests, so try to do a little of everything
