I've PMed Piestro asking for specific instructions.

While I'm waiting for a reply, you might want to go log on to the support area and look at My Account. Remove your CC info from the listing so that they cant charge it.

As soon as Piestro replies with instructions, I'll make a post.

Strange, just looking at my payment history under both my accounts, and it says there has been no payments in 2012 although my credit card statement clearly shows 2 payments.

A little more investigating...

Previous payments in my credit card statement are labeled "SOE COMMERCE LONDON".

The 2 new payments made after free to play was introduced are labeled "SOE*COMMERCE 858-537-0898CA"

Doing a google search on "SOE*COMMERCE 858-537-0898CA" comes back with a lot of results of fraudulent activity. I think its time to talk to the bank as well as petition.

Ok well i removed my card a while back, and just noticed another charge on my account and still hadnt gotten a response from Piestro.

Petitioned just now and chatted with a CSR.

It seems i was getting charged for EQ2, this is something i never signed up for and the CSR informed me it was not from any of my accounts ( i listed my accounts and the one friends account that i previously paid for once).

He would not tell me which account was using my credit card and i asked if they would investigate it as it was fraudulent activity, which he basically said they would not.

So im down $45, which i dont really care about, but i'm not happy about the fact they are happy just to let this slide.

ill be contacting my bank and cancelling my credit card as i've lost all trust in Sony handling my CC info.

You should be calling your bank regarding a fraudulent charge anyway, not SOE.

I was just charged as well. I didn't see a way to remove my credit card information (I could only remove it for an old card I no longer use).

I realise that, I would of thought SoE would investigate this kind of thing though, i mean whoever is using this my card is getting away with it, and can continue to do so with someone else's card after i cancel mine.

If you can't remove a payment source then you still have an ACTIVE subscription, you can see this in the Payment Source details under "CURRENTLY USED FOR..." Remove those subscriptions then you can remove the payment source.

Got a notification today from my bank for a refunded amount totaling $7.94:

DEBIT CARD REFUND SOE*COMMERCE $7.94

I got a refund from SOE on 5/6, for $10.84. Which is weird since they never charged me anything else after they went free before the supposed end of days. I'm not complaining but it's weird they're still charging some and randomly refunding others...

Sadly I had charged a year of Station Access for my main account and not just an EQMac sub, they just converted that to a "Gold Pass" for the remainder of the year, and would have auto-renewed that if I hadn't canceled it and removed my card.

I can't figure out how to remove my EQMac subscription so that I can remove my card info from Payment Sources...
