I found the account that is housing my EQMac characters, but I went to log in and couldn't remember the password, so I clicked "forgot password" and it sent me an email w a link. I clicked the link, and it asked me to answer a secret qestions, which i did, and then it said in red letters "this request has already been done today, you can only do this every 24 hours"

The problem is that I KNOW I havent done this before, because I havent tried to log into that user name since the account was active years ago..

I just want my password reset, because I've tried every single password that i've ever used, and some how its none of those (which i feel is weird, because I never changed my passwords, its always been one of the same 5 pw's.)

You need to call CS to resolve this. Sounds like the account is locked.

Believe so. They are also on PST time, so keep that in mind when you call.

Why couldn't you? SOE isn't shutting their doors on Monday just because their games are going to be offline while they replace some hardware. You dont need to log into the game to make sure your account gets unlocked, you can verify just bu logging into the official forums.

I had a similar problem recently, I tried doing the reset the next day and it worked ok. I wasn't sure if it was the account name retrieval I did 10 minutes before that caused the error on the PW retrieval.

They dont have CS [customer support] on the weekends, right?

Either way, I am waiting until 1am then going to hit the password retrieval link again and see what happens.
