I'm not quite sure what in the hell you saying now. Is it that if someone does anything wrong that it justifies another to do worse? Or is it something else?
Whatever it is, just make sure you understand that every time you've opened your mouth on this god forsaken thread your words have given credence to those that are exploiting.
If you don't understand my position, I'm not sure that's my fault. But this thread is so long that you may not remember my original post on the topic.
My involvement in this aspect of the thread came when one of your guild mates said everyone should be banned for breaking the rules. This was somewhere in the general neighborhood of page 10. I pointed out that account sharing / transferring is rampant and generally accepted on this server, even though it's a direct violation of the EULA. I then proposed that picking and choosing which rules to follow completely invalidates SOE as the arbiter of what's legal and what's not.
Everything else I've follows from that basic position.
Using pathing bugs to trivialize content is not how I play the game. Other people thumb their nose at perma-pac. You seem to be declaring account sharing as dead wrong (based on a couple of recent posts), but I admit I may be misunderstanding you. But....
I can understand someone who is playing against the GAME, not just against the encounters the game designers have presented us with. I can understand someone who feels that finding easier ways to beat the encounters is part of the game they're playing. I do not think making these choices automatically flags someone as some sort of horrible person.
No one has to agree with me. You can decide you think I'm just trolling. You can decide whatever you want. I don't expect you or anyone else to change their in game behavior based on anything I ever say. You can decide I'm a horrible person for having a different view than you do.
And it's all "whatever".
Until someone is breaking SOE's rules in a fashion that directly and negatively affects me or someone I care about, then who am I to judge that person's behavior? And by extension, who are you?
And ALL of that position -- every bit of it -- is predicated on a simple fact: the server collectively is not lily-white because of the account sharing / transferring issue. The entire position is based on people declaring account sharing to be okay, including several of your guildmates. If we were to eliminate that position, then my entire position would change.
