Hi everyone

Im a ABSOLUTLY Newcomer to Macintosh. Just bought a Machine on eBay, to play EQMac

Well, i managed sofar, to download EQ to my Computer and extracted the Launchpanel successfully.

After starting the LP and trying to login to my Account, it says:

"A valid subscription was not found. You can subsribe now."

Now the Safari-Browser pops up with the EQMac Website. Cant find now anything usefull in my Accountsettings, to "unlock" EQMac.

Based now, on the Posting from Nikolai (Read here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4639 ) it looks like, there was/is a bug.

Is this Bug still there? To be honest, im from Germany and im not doing a Phonecall to the USA, to get a Account running

Any suggestion is very welcome,

Ok, short information-update:

i wrote now a Ticet to the CS via the Knowledge Base Website. Lets see, how long it will take, hehe.

i also will try to contact the CS via Chatsupport later... lets see, what they can do for me

Hi Lyrina, welcome to Al'Kabor. You should be able to get your account flagged for EQMac via email or chat (once you find the right CS person). Also, you can PM as per this thread:

oh dear....

Calling works best when chat is unavailable.. I think TSR-JamisonW is no longer in customer support so probably won't get a reply from that.

Hi Lyrina and welcome of course.

Just send them an e-mail, I did the same and got a mail with the activation code the next day.

You might also try calling via Skype, if the long distance charges are prohibitive. It would probably cost half a euro or less.

Best of luck, Lyrina. I used eqchat 2 years ago to activate it- as of late more people have used the phone call method to activate their accounts, I hear. I know that doesn't help you though...
