For those who know the lovely Eloradanon but don't have access to the Destiny forums -- I know she has friends on the server who aren't in Destiny.

Elora is in hospice care for her cancer. At this point we do not expect to see her in game again. There are a number of us who are quite heartbroken.

We don't have any more real info for you. If we learn more, we'll share.

Elora passed away this morning in her sleep.

She will be missed. I'm at a loss for other words. Been a while since a friend died and I had forgotten how it feels.

Although I didn't know her well she helped me a few times in game and seemed like a kind and warm person. So sad to hear about her passing My heart goes out to her in game friends and family.

Dark Conquest

When I returned to EQMac I leveled up with Elora for a couple weeks. She was an interesting character for sure often speaking of smeg and duck butter and she will be missed. I didn't even know she was sick with something terminal but I've lost contact the last couple months and she never spoke of it to me.

wow, i didn't know she had been sick, i feel in shock.

i've been blankly staring at my screen for the last several minutes... i feel very envious of the people who had the pleasure of knowing Elo in person. if there is a God in Heaven, she's up there now.

and i know there's no way i'll be able to take her off my /friends list in EQ.

I am sadden to hear this. She was so much fun to group with and she left quite an impression on me. I can remember meeting her for the first time in the Plane of Innovation, and also our last grouping in the Crypt where we were discussing our enjoyment of Doctor Who.

I didn't know of her condition. She must have been one brave soul.

My condolences to her family, Destiny and everyone else who knew her. I will miss my EQ friend.

(((((((((((( What a terrible loss for our community. Elora was the very first person I met on EQMac and a big part of why I stayed here instead of going back to EQ on the PC side. She was always so helpful and kind and will be missed by so many.

She really will be missed. She was just so cheerful and friendly. Who knew that she was so ill?
