It started raining early in Cobalt Scar. The pattering of rain on my helm helped to remove the distracting chatter of our loud mouth Iksar. Sanctuary moved closer to the water's edge.

Sodor mentions to all, "we will pull to here."

Darellian the faire Ranger from Kelethin dips his finger into the sea, "its just a few hundred feet off shore."

Sodor waves his hand, and Dare nods. The ranger dives head first into the sea.

Sharzic grovels, "I'm the faster swimmer..." we all laugh... a moment to relax before the battle. Maeghan conjures a jester's cap for Sharz, he doesn't think it's funny.

"I found him!" Dare yells to us all... unfortunately he never surfaces.

Sodor waves his hand again, this time Sharzic nods.

In a couple minutes we see Dare's body surface. Rezz.

Patiently Sanctuary sits on the shore, looking at the waves hit the sand. Then we see an Iksar poke his head up through the waves, "It's here."

Soon enuff, the snake appears. I thought to myself, it wasn't this ugly before and a minor shiver ran down my neck.

Sodor gives out the rally call... "Men in arms! Attack!" The troops fall in.

The Race is on.

As soon as Sodor's first lash smashed into Kel's neck a screech ran out, loud as anything I have ever heard, and then you saw it. An army of Sirens appeared out of the sea, one by one poking thier heads out and charging the shore.

"Flankers, intercept!" called Sodor... Dare, Sharzic and myself charged in eye's closed! We were out numbered 2 to 1, but Dare and Sharz was every bit up to the challenge. I had a hard enuff time holding on to one of them before the Iksar came from behind and took down my Siren. "Thanks Sharz."

I wiped my blood stained brow, it's time to help Sodor with Kel.

And then there we were... with the big boss holding the snake down, we rained down our fury on the snake until it just laid there. Casters Minny, Bone, Maeg, Lam and Kawaii hold thier fire. We look. Not moving.

Kawaii kicked it head to make sure it was dead. No drama.

With one knee down, I said a little prayer to Tunare and our fore fathers Taivo, Yumamdaru, and Trueheart. Thank you for your spirit, we have used it well today.
