BUG REPORT : Optional Vertical Buff Window with Buff Names EQUI_BuffWindow.xml

There is a mistake in the optional version of the buffs window which includes the buff names. The numbered boxes which are visible when there is no buff in a slot are using the wrong texture. They are using a 64x32px texture and scaling it to 32x32px. A fix for this file will be pushed in the next full release but if you want to fix it now for the performance gains, make the following change to the correct version of EQUI_BuffWindow.xml

Search for all FIFTEEN occurrences of...
Code:
      <Animation>A_BtnPressed</Animation>

Replace with...
Code:
      <Animation>A_SquareBtnPressed</Animation>

Could you maybe have a basic site on your host, or thread here, with all bug reports and changes to code made between your releases? This would help those of us working on modified versions to make these corrections as well without having to rebuild from base poweroftwo.

Great work as always =)

quick question on the timer mod, when camping or reloading UI it seems to reset the timer windows position and transparency settings, is this a side effect of it being the bug window or is it something that can be changed? i remember when i had a friends window modified timer it would have to be reopened after zoning which i put down to it being the friends window.

This is due to the way EQMac saves UI data to the ini files... but it is easy to correct.

Changes to the position, size or opacity of a window are only committed to the CharacterName_52.ini file when the window is closed. This means that if you open the bug window, move it or change opacity, leave it open and camp out, your changes will not be saved. If you move it, close it then camp out, your changes will be saved.

Solution : Open the Bug window, get it set up just how you like it, close the bug window and camp out once. Thereafter it will always be in the correct place and you will not need to repeat this process unless you decide to move it again.

@Maktub

Could you make this poweroftwo ready? It's the feedback window that gives locations to zones and evac points.

Easily done. Open the EQUI_FeedbackWnd.xml in TEXTEDIT or DASHCODE.

Search for all occurrences of...
Code:
   <DrawTemplate>WDT_Def</DrawTemplate>

Replace with...
Code:
   <DrawTemplate>WDT_Rounded</DrawTemplate>

I will reflect these alterations in the original thread.

Any chance that you could also post the 1.x files? I bet some folk who just want a better performing default style would appreciate it.

I'll bundle them back together then and tack them on to the end of the download page.

This is just amazing looking. So easy to read what buffs you have, perfect contrast.
Does anyone have a link to this buff bar? Also, is there a way to get it working with the latest poweroftwo? Seems like they had issues before....I like the tiny icon/text buff icon that is included in the poweroftwo UI but this one is much easier to read and see!

edit: Still looking for this buff bar .xml! But I'm looking to use it with poweroftwo 1.04, not 2.0. Thanks in advance!

I'm using it, it's just not nearly as easy on the eyes as this buffbar.
