EQMac April - May contest.
EQMac.com would like to announce the April - May contest.
What: Contest is for the best redesign of the EQMac.com logo. It seems some of the members like the new one, but a majority feel they or someone else could do a better job. Well nows the time to step to the plate and take your best swing!
Who: Open to all registered EQMac.com members
When: Starting today EQMac.com will accept submissions for the contest. Submission deadline is Sunday May 16th at 12:00AM
( I.E. your submission must be posted by Midnight pacific time the night of the 15th )
Final top candidates will be determined by Khama. Final candidates will be voted on by the EQMac.com members.
( EQMac.com reserves the right to determine the ultimate winner - should contest tampering be suspected )
Why: Because! Besides its an excuse to hold a contest
The ultimate winning submission will receive a copy of
Toy Sight software by Freeverse Games. Rated "Best Of Show" at MacWorld Expo San Francisco 2004, this prize includes the following game for use with your iSight camera:
Submarine Battle, The Plank, Marble factory, FreeFall, Volcano God, The Owl & the Pussycat, Toy Wars, Pie Sight, Tennis Xtreme, Plus Toys!

Submission Guidelines: Submissions must be able to provide final document in the following formats.
300 DPI
Under 7 Mb
Vector Based AI file ( Compatible with Illustrator 7 )
OR
JPG in the following two sizes
1) 8" x 10" or 10" x 8"
2) 6" x 6"
For purposes of posting your submission, please post it to this thread. Take a small screenshot or reduce the file to 96DPI. If you make a submission, but cannot provide final documents in the correct format, size, resolution or DPI, you will be disqualified.
All submissions, including the winning submission, become the property of EQMac.com. By submitting your design to the contest, you waive any rights to the image, and transfer all rights to EQMac.com
Submissions must include some form of the EQMac mascot "Mac the Knight", the tag line "Twink Different" and the word EQMac or EQMac.com. Submissions must be on a transparent or pure white background.
Once the winning submissions is determined, instructions will be given to the winner on how to send the final finished file(s) to Khama.

Do Not discuss the contest or the submissions here, if you wish to do that, please start a new thread. Failure to follow this rule will result in deleted posts.
Post only submissions to the contest in this thread!
OK folks ...... Fire up those graphic apps, and get a crackin! I know many of you have been waiting for this announcement, and have some ideas already sketched out. Now you can finish them and enter the contest!
