Thanks for the offer, Riskiest. DE Warrior has all his noob armor except the boots. I believe there are no orc foot bones in Nektulos, or, if there are, they are ultra rare. I read someplace about killing orc pawns south of the bridge, but there are hardly any. My DE 4-man army has camped the small Orc encampment south of the river, west side of the zone, and I believe I got most of the drops I needed there. On the other hand, that's why I now have a HEF ranger, to help out with things like that. Dark Elves have a deficit in tracking skill. I'm hoping that the orc footbones will turn up in Crushbone. At least the ranger is having fun there.
The warrior isn't doing the killing; I've been strategic about keeping him from completing kills (cough, zone edge in crushbone, cough.)
If you have a technique for the pristine forest drakeling scale in Gfay (for the ranger's tunic, last missing piece!) I'd love to hear about it. she's willing to spend more time tracking stuff around and killing, but if there's a quadrant that's more favorable, please share the wisdom.
And does anyone want to tell me about basilisk eye stalks dropping from basilisk hatchlings, or shall I open a new thread on that? Last piece needed for the chanter's robe. My little folks aren't ready for the big basilisks in Lavastorm, but I've been tracking and killing the basilisk hatchlings in Gfay. Will eventually head back to Nektulos.
