About once a week, my EQ crashes. The machine actually shuts off.

The next time I play, I login and get this message:

Monitor does not support 1920x1400 resetting to 640x480

When I get in and reset my res to 1920x1440 - it works but all my windows settings (faded levels, positions etc) are mucked up. I play for a week or so +... ithappens again.....

Ideas?

I believe (note haven't checked this in a while) that 1920x1400 isn't a standard res, and not in the ini file, so when the crash resets things, you have to actually get into the game (LaunchPad and Game are two separate apps) to set the resolution. I think (again pretty sure, but not absolute) that you can edit the ini and put 1920x1400 in there to overcome this.

I run EQMac in a non standard mode. You can change the ini settings pretty easily with a text editor. I believe there were 3 places to change it in the ini but they were all in the same section. I originally got the same "monitor does not support" error but since I manually changed the ini I haven't had a problem with my video. (hopefully saying that doesn't create a problem)
