Suddenly I'm getting this message (I've been playing fine for weeks, the game is indeed installed and I haven't touched the directory or the files and it hasn't been randomly uninstalled, so I'm not sure what that message means... this just started happening today... please help ;(... I've been playing fine for weeks.

I haven't changed anything about my Macbook Pro late 2011. I haven't even done any updates. I just suddenly get this message. I've restarted, but that doesn't seem to fix it. Anyone help? I've been playing fine for weeks, was just in yesterday.

Have you tried deleting the Web Installer Preferences? (~/Library/Preferences/SOEWebInstaller

Can you further specify? There are several files if I go to that. "SOEWebInstaller" is a folder with another folder/file and then a dozen files within that folder. What do I delete, the entire folder?

Remove the whole folder.

Deleted the entire folder... still getting the issue. What exactly did I just delete though? Do I need to get it back now, what did that folder do?

Thanks for the help though! Hopefully fix this soon. This is like the first Friday I've stayed in in months (trying to give my liver a break) and I was dying to play Everquest all night... I've been too busy to play for weeks, and I have fresh buffs on my new character hehe. Was dying to play with KEI for 3 hours.

So weird! So you have logged in today? My trader has been up for almost 2.5 days or so, and I logged off to move my laptop to my friend's and now I can't log back in. So I haven't really seen the patcher in 2.5 days since I've been in continuously... or mostly, I may have relogged once or twice yesterday or the day before.

I guess I shouldn't have went to my friend's =( Just wanted to play EQ at her house to have some company haha... but I'd much rather be playing alone than not playing at all!

I am getting an error message after entering my login/password. It loads up the next screen with the "Play" button, but also pops a box up that says:

"Unable to fetch the EULA before trying to install Everquest Mac. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again.
Error Code: 2"

I have never seen this before. Quitting, reopening, doesn't help. Deleting the "SOEWebInstaller" folder doesn't help. Anyone?

*Edit: Obviously I am connected to the internet, so that is not the issue.
