Hi Love, How's the WoW FPoV going? I check on the penguatic site ocasionally but seems dead on the public boards.

I'm still on the EQ2. Multi-alting as always :)

hehe yeah, the WoW incarnation of the FPoV is nothing compared to the good ol EQMac days. We have 30 some members, but I find myself playing solo most of the time. I miss everyone so much - Vespa is the only one i still talk to regularly. If EQII ever comes out for Mac (so i guess never) I would play it in a heartbeat. I'd take the snail-paced exp and being a bard over fun gameplay and being a 1-out-of-1,000,000 run of the mill undead warlock any day. Oh well - "turn and face the strain..."

lol, snail-paced xp. Saxxon EQ2 is like 6 - 8 days old on /played and is level 30 :P We got this vitality thing that builds up every hour on or offline (ripped off from WoW apparently). Double XP till it runs out :)

As far as EQ2 Bards go I think they are pretty much bards in name only now (and a few notes effects here and there). Songs are more like magic buffs and most of the songs don't even have a duration anymore (created a Troubador as I liked re-buffing but now the few remaining songs with duration last a minimum of 10 minutes it's kind of killed that off)

Anyway, good to hear the old guild is still about and I'm kind of suprised that none of the others have shown up over there when they left EQ.

For nostalgia's sake, I made a pilgrimage to the old FPoV site, and then over here to EQmac. This is the post I made over there:

Just thought I'd pop in and say "Hi!" for any of the old Poets still lurking around these boards.

I'm happy to know there's at least still ONE Poet on Al'Kabor! Gatley's been gone now for several months, though I've now rezzed him in WoW on the Boulderfist Server. Killed by the plague, he now roams Azeroth as one of the Forsaken undead. However, my two primary characters are a part of Shield of Azeroth on the Alleria server. Their names are Edlan and Nedran, and recently I've been appointed to be a guild officer in charge of maintaining our website.

I hope the rest of you are all doing well and having fun, and I wish you all safe journeys and good luck!

Ah, I miss the old EQ days. Seems like years when me and Love were talking about muse while killing hill giants. Now I'm into WW2 Online for the mac. (Very fun massivley multi-player games.

I look around and see that people I used to group with are 65 plus some odd AA's. Makes me wish I stayed to make it to 65.

I remember the scavenger hunt last summer when one of our guild won a horse!

But now it's all over and I see most of the poets have been removed from that world :).

Good luck saxxon with EQ2!!

oh yes and Love why are you not answering your aim anymore?
