Bad news...i have ahd a death on the family and won't be home until
4 or 5 oclock central.

It is still possible for me to come and help lead but we would have to push the time back until about 4 pacific

I have a followup on the raid to be posted here later tonight as far as a list of all members of each guild that attended.

The raid went extremely well. No deaths, although one person got lost, but we found her and brought her back to the fun!

Lots of random killing of mobs, which was fun, netted us two Dusty Burlap Sacks (25% weight reduction, 8 slot, medium) and two Rogue only Tombcarvers.

When Xalgoz popped, we pulled him and killed him and got two warrior only Xalgozian Fangs. One went to Kirrmarr, the other went to Dilgar.

All in all, a successful raid.

With the size of the turnout and the relative ease with which we destroyed everything we attacked, I am thinking that the Poets and their friends are ready to take on the Tangrin. We will probably be scheduling that raid soon, so keep an eye out for updates in this forum.

I finally found my notebook! Sorry it took so long to finish this!

The raid attendees were:

52 CLE Trea <Sanctuary>
44 PAL Yumamdaru <Sanctuary> (Group 2 Leader)
35 DRU Tuani <Sanctuary>
43 BST Panteria <Sanctuary> (Main Looter)
35 PAL Trueheart <Sanctuary>
47 RAN Taivo <Sanctuary>
41 ROG Rysia <Sanctuary>
43 WAR Kirrmarr <The Frozen Poets of Velious> (Group 1 and Raid Leader)
38 DRU Tegian <The Frozen Poets of Velious>
40 RAN Gatley <The Frozen Poets of Velious>
36 ENC Deths <Unholy Nightmares>
39 NEC Necrowench <Unholy Nightmares>
25 WAR Dilgar <Unholy Nightmares>
24 WAR Gardor <Unholy Nightmares>
39 WIZ Naxxos <The Frozen Poets of Velious>
31 WIZ Radornae <The Frozen Poets of Velious>
40 CLE Ohsocrukael <Village Idiots>
46 SHD Kaen <Village Idiots> (Group 4 Leader - Pulled Xalgoz)
46 SHD Utenlaen <Village Idiots> (Group 3 Leader)
32 BST Sharzic <Village Idiots>
41 CLE Crowley <The Frozen Poets of Velious>
43 CLE Darkmender <?>

The following people logged out before we reached Xalgoz: Tegian, Necrowench, Gardor, Utenlaen, Sharzic, and Darkmender. Some were with us nearly to the end others had to go early.

After the raid, Kaen, Panteria, myself, and Deths sold and split what loot that was gotten that was not worth rolling for. Each of us took a split back to our guilds to be put in our guild banks or given to our guild leaders.

All in all it was a fun raid and now I feel we are ready for some bigger targets. I think the Tangrin will be our next target and that I need to get with Uttama (who originally suggested this target) to setup a time for the raid when he can be present.

Thanks again to everyone who made it to the raid! Happy hunting!

The Tangrin

http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=4219

Level 54 monkey warrior who runs at Spirit of Cheetah speed.

Has a monkey stun that willl whack the hell out of me and kirrmarr so clerics ARE needed. Maybe we should recruit some?

II think we should invite all the people who went on kaesora except bump the level to 30+....25 is suicide I'm sorry to say.

We would have to go to the lake, stop, buff up, get a mage to summon everyone a waterstone and when the leaders say, cast it on yourself and swim swim swim to his island. The tanks would engage and etc etc.

Once we have a time I could type a strategy up if you'd like.
