I can't really start much earlier than that due to this pesky physiological requirement called "sleep".
Unless you guys want to start at Saturday midnight PST! I'll be awake then.
I suspect the first hour will just be spent getting everyone together and organized into groups so anyone arriving late will still be able to make it, I bet.
Once organized, I will have each group go and zone and then wait for the rest to show up. Once all are in the zone, we move to split paw and get everyone buffed, then i will send a clearing team in to clean up the front entrance room, then everyone can start zoning in. Hopefully, we can fit everyone in the first room. Then clearing teams clean the next room. We all move, then we start towards the doors. I will have a scout count the mobs for us so we know what to expect, then we pull them all, dispatch of them and move beyond the doors.
At that point, its up to the scouts to keep us informed so we can find good med spots if we need them. If we have enchanters or pet classes that can help with crowd control, we will definitely be using them.
I suspect most groups will have at least one melee in it and one personal with healing capability, even if it is a ranger/paladin/beastlord.
Casters please be vigilant on buffs. Healers please do your best to keep people alive. Meleers (me included) lets make sure we keep the mobs interested in us.
I will probably only have two looters assigned, one from each guild. They will most likely be melee classes that are not main tanks for their groups. IF we come across any NODROP items, I want them to let me know by linking it in a raidsay. Only the classes/races that can use it will be rolling for it.
The rest of the loot will most likely be sold, unless it is a rare item, in which case it will be rolled for. After the loot is sold, the money will be split between the two looters and then each looter can distribute to their guilds as their guild requires. The two looters should be willing to do the selling and splitting outside of the raid time.
Any non guild members should ask for a fee up front or ask one or the other guild to be part of the cash distro. Any non guildie will be eligible for any rolled item, rare or NODROP.
Non guild members are characters that are not members of Sanctuary or The Frozen Poets of Velious.
Finally, during the initial setup, I will be making a list and checking it twice to make sure i account for all raid members. After the raid, I will post that list to ensure that both guilds are aware of who showed up. If your guild (my guild?) uses a raid point system, this should help facilitate that system. At the very least, the guild looters will know who is entitled to a portion of the cash.
Anyone have any other thoughts on this? Let me know.
