There was a DC exodus!?

TL;DR version:
DC members called for change from leadership, a member posted a revised copy of the charter including possible changes they'd like to see, Karpan dismissed via TL;DR, members got pissed and left.


More Details:
Karpan, Jian and Kaany stated there was misunderstanding stemming from Zamiel and exploitation however, the thread which caused the exodus had very little to do with exploitation and everything to do with officers and leadership being absent from the guild for extended periods of time (weeks and months) as well as their ability to react to guild needs in a timely manner (not take months to demote a rogue officer, playing tagged alts in anon and watch as guild members struggle to throw together raids and events).

This is my take on it and I harbor no ill will towards any of the parties involved which is why I remained neutral during the entire fiasco. The piece that left a sour taste in my mouth and ultimately led to my decision to detag was when valid criticism was being dismissed rudely. I expect there to be a difference of opinion, I also expect a guild promoting a "family environment" to not dismiss those differences with a TL;DR.

The whole thing was handled poorly from the start. It's a shame because I've heard great things about their leadership, I just never witnessed them during my tenure besides Jian and her always caring nature.
