Updates

Wednesday, July 16th, at 2:AM Pacific Time, the Al'Kabor server will be brought down for a game update. The estimated downtime will be 30 minutes ~ The EverQuest operations Team.


It's nice to see some official word on the site. Wonder what is going to be in it? For the amount of downtime it looks like just bug fixes.

Wanna take bets on actual downtime VS the message? PC side is usualy off by hour or more and can almost always count on emergency patch.

My bet is they are down 20 mins or less. Most of us wont even know the servers were down, if anyone. *grin*

If they're anything like PC servers, 30 minutes is equal to 3 hours. :P

It wont be for more than 20 or 30 min. It sounds like bug fixes. On the PC side when it goes down for a long time it is because they are adding stuff or making big changes.
This just sounds like a bug fix.
