Of course using it for something ethically ambiguous is frowned upon, that's the nature of ambiguity.
If your first thought upon seeing an ad, for a legitimate product is to run for the hills screaming the sky is falling, instead of understanding that it's just an ad, you may need to take a breather.

Admit your wrong, take some involvement in talking to the community other than denying your authoritative tone.
Not everyone visits these forums, or is privy to your "inside connections" with Hobart, and the much alluded to, but not directly stated stance on connecting to EQmac from PC's either.
So making these assumptions, and then judging or advising others based on them again makes you elitist/arrogant, and the like, because you're preaching from a TV on the pulpit, instead of showing up to church to greet the congregation.
