Ah ... Yes ... - Can't count the times when I've been wanting to do just that ... - My problem is that I am not just a "casual" player ... - Never have been, and I can't really see myself playing just "casual" ...

When I played on live, I had numerous alts ... but none of them were past level 52 ... (except my main and my box). Outside raiding (which I loved) my one "passion" was to see just how much outside "Classic" (Kunark and Velious) level 52's were able to kill (both solo, group and raid-wise), before hitting the "level-barrier" ...

Reading these boards, - knowing that Al Kabor is capped at PoP, is interesting to me and brings back fond memories ... - However, having to spend numerous hours camping (especially Shards, VP key items and the backflagging cycle in PoP) is what (to me) is deterring, and at this point keeping me from making a toon on Al Kabor, but more and more in the recent months starting anew on this server does seem to have a lot of appeal ...

Who knows, I may do what you suggest in 2012 ...

Sounds like you would be a great candidate for Vintage.

No I wouldn't ... heh ... Because I like(d) to ... - Twink ! - And heavily I might add ...

I had the same thoughts when i joined up. I didnt want to redo the initial grind i did on PC and would of bought a character if i could find one. But that is not really an option here and if you know what you're doing and can put a bit of time in, its not hard to get a char up fast.

And its also more satisfying

And I agree with you about the value of satisfaction in levelling up your own toon(s) (because I will be boxing min. 2 characters if I start playing again ... - Might even make it three this time ...).

Ahh well if you're boxing it will be even easier. A lot of generous people on this server, dont be afraid to let everyone know you're new and happy to take hand outs.

Pffft. VT keying is so easy :p Stop making excuses and come to Al'Kabor

Yet another nice thing about this server is how willing people are to help with pretty much everything.

Get into any one of the active guilds, and you'll be surprised how eager people are to assist with the tedious grindy stuff (like sharding)
